Who We Are
Incorporated as a Society since October 18, 2006, ANSO is a registered Charity based out of Grande Prairie, AB, Canada that is dedicated to the advancement of education, the relief of poverty and to better the lives of families in Ethiopia. This is achieved through a range of projects including education, micro-business, animal restocking, health education and much more.

Girls are able to attend school regularly,- no longer having to walk many miles daily to attend

ANSO members were able to visit from Grande Prairie Alberta with the support from Swan City Rotary Club- to see, listen and learn first hand how the dorms are being managed

Focus
Education and economic empowerment
Over the years ANSO has provided much needed supplies to Ethiopia including the delivery of a Sea-Can full of books, office and laboratory equipment and bicycles through partnership with Swan City Rotary Club of Grande Prairie Alberta.
As well ANSO has provided English Language instruction in Fantelle, Ethiopia through an English Language Boot Camp.
Currently ANSO provides the young girls of Ethiopia an opportunity to attend education classes and to learn a trade in the safe and secure environment of the Negelle Borena Rural Students Hostel.
